I come from a background dominated by Aussie rules. Playing since i was 7, I represented the state at U/16 level and spent the best part of 8 years playing at a league club. Through my heavy involvement and love for sport, I developed a passion for health and fitness.

Upon leaving school I gained certificates 3 & 4 in fitness, and began part time work at various gyms across Adelaide. I was disappointed with what I’d found, commercial gyms seemed like very anti-social places, it wasn’t the setting I’d envisioned forging a career in.
I decided it wasn’t for me and left to pursue an apprenticeship in Carpentry. During this time I was introduced to Crossfit by a friend and have never looked back, I could not imagine training any other way.
I started coaching at CrossFit Tenacity in 2010 and during my time training and coaching using CrossFit methods I have learned more than I could have ever imagined!
I’ve developed a genuine passion for human movement and for improving my knowledge and skills as a coach. I’m committed to constantly improving as a Coach and Athlete and continuing to expand my knowledge along the way, certain that these improvements will benefit our athletes at Crossfit Tenacity. I get great satisfaction from seeing others improve and achieve their goals!
I believe performing the basics extremely well is the key to success! Health, fitness, strength and conditioning are no exception!
Do the basics well and make no excuses!

I started playing lacrosse at age 9 and have had a passion for sport, fitness and Giraffes from a very early age. I have represented South Australia on numerous occasions and have won a senior men’s league championship.

Upon leaving school I completed my apprenticeship in Plumbing and was working as a drain layer, but felt unsatisfied with my job and looking to do something else.
It was during my time as a plumber I found whilst looking for exercises to do with my Kettlebell. After taking 32 minutes to finish “Fran” in my garage with strict pull-ups and 42kg thrusters I was hooked, I started training at Crossfit Tenacity and have never looked back!

I am a committed coach and eager to put in extra time to further my knowledge to help others around me succeed and better themselves for the future.

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ~Greg Glassman
